Key Responsibilities
CNC Wood Machinist
- Set up, operate, and program CNC machinery for precision cutting and shaping
- Interpret technical drawings, CAD files, and production plans
- Work with hardwoods, veneers, and engineered timber products
- Ensure high accuracy and quality control of finished components
- Perform routine machine maintenance and troubleshooting
Cabinet Maker
- Manufacture and assemble custom cabinetry and furniture to high standards
- Read and interpret detailed shop drawings and specifications
- Work with a range of materials including solid timber and veneers
- Carry out precise cutting, fitting, and finishing work
- Ensure all work meets premium quality and finish standards
French Polisher
- Prepare and finish high-end timber surfaces to luxury standards
- Apply traditional and modern polishing techniques including staining, sealing, and lacquering
- Repair, restore, and refine timber surfaces and furniture pieces
- Achieve flawless finishes on bespoke furniture and joinery products
- Maintain high attention to detail across all finishing work
About You
- Proven experience in your trade (CNC machining, cabinet making, or French polishing)
- Strong eye for detail and commitment to high-quality craftsmanship
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Reliable, motivated, and proud of your workmanship
- Experience working in bespoke, high-end, or custom furniture environments highly regarded
- Strong understanding of materials, finishes, and production processes
