Momentum are working with our client who have an exciting opportunity for a Customer Service Officer. The successful applicant will deliver high performance standards around all aspects of cargo handling, meeting the requirements of their customers and maintaining health and safety and overall good working practices in accordance to company policies and procedures at all times.
Status: Temporary Full Time
Reports to: Cargo Supervisor
Location: The role is based at Cargo or Domestic - Matraville
Shifts: 7 day rotating roster. You must have 7 day availability.
Principal Responsibilities
- Process documentation at freight acceptance and delivery.
- Performing various administrative and reporting duties, including but not limited to: data entry, cash handling, daily baking, managing daily mail and accounts administration.
- Providing high level customer service and assisting with cargo enquiries.
- Maintain professional relationships with customers.
- Create invoices and reconcile banking ensuring that all applicable charges are collected.
- Enter freight details into system.
- Complete general filing and other office duties.
- Perform call-outs.
- Operate all equipment and systems in a safe, secure and efficient manner at all times.
- Report any faults or irregularities with equipment, facilities, systems of processes to the appropriate management.
- Deal with disruption and irregularities with confidence and composure.
Candidate Requirements
- Sound knowledge of administrative functions.
- Good computer skills.
- Verbal and written communication skills.
