We are currently seeking an experienced Shipping Clerk for a long term temp assignment, commencement is ASAP for our client who operates on a Global scale.
Your responsibilities will include the following -
* Processing shipment ready for receipt
* Data management in ERP and Excel
* Invoicing and costing
* Processing orders to meet time frames for shipment
To be successful in your application you will need to demonstrate the following:
* Minimum 2 years Freight or Import industry Experience
* Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal
* Reliability is essential
* Sound computer skills
* Ability to maintain focus and attention to detail while doing repetitive tasks
* Ability to work as part of a team, as well as independently
* Motivated and able to follow instructions
* Positive attitude with the ability to self-manage to get the job done
* Own Transport and valid driver's license
* Able to provide 2 x contactable work-related references
This is an outstanding opportunity to use your Freight experience on what will initially be a temp assignment (long term maternity leave replacement role) which may lead to other opportunities including permanency for the right person!
