About us
We are looking for an experienced highreach forklift operator to join our client who is a global leader in healthcare and medical products.
This role is integral to the business and involves end-to-end warehouse operations, from receiving goods production support and dispatching orders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts, including counterbalance and high-reach trucks, to load, unload, and transport stock.
- Handle inventory control, including stock checks and accurate record-keeping.
- Pick and pack orders for production department, with precision, ensuring timely completion.
- Stock putaway from receiving and returns from production
- Wrap pallets for transport and ensure all goods are securely prepared for delivery.
- Assist with general housekeeping to maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment.
- Support the team in the receiving and dispatching of goods to meet company standards.
Requirements:
- Valid LF Forklift License.
- Previous experience in warehouse operations, particularly with receiving, inventory management, and dispatch.
- Proven ability to operate counterbalance and high-reach forklifts.
- Own Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including steel-capped boots and hi-vis clothing.
- Physical fitness, with the ability to lift items up to 25kg.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- A proactive attitude and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
