The role is to assist the import and export freight logistics (specifically EXW Incoterms) ensuring trade compliance with Australian and international authorities. Responsibilities include:
- Manage imports - documentation, liaising with internal and external stakeholders and expediting deliveries when required.
- Map the current import process.
- Assist the team in other areas if there is spare capacity.
- Provide accurate and relevant documentation for all export orders
- Maintain good working relationships with key stakeholders.
- Proactively communicate with the customer shipment details and delays
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Industry knowledge and experience in importing or exporting materials and finished goods
- Organisational and time management skills
- Co-ordinating documentation and communications from and through multiple sources
- General business knowledge
- Good Word, Excel, Outlook & EO skills
- Good working knowledge of GXP (desirable)
- Experience with Enterprise One and WAMAS (desirable)
- Sound understanding of the Code of Good Manufacturing Practice for Therapeutic Goods
