We're partnering with a globally recognised Tier 1 business that designs, manufactures and services advanced electrical and control systems for the Australian rail industry. Due to continued growth, they're looking for an experienced Industrial Electrician with HV experience to join their Power Supply & Electrification team.
This is ideal for an experienced Electrician who wants to step away from the tools on site grind and move into a more stable, long term environment without losing the technical challenge.

About the role
Based in a modern facility around Olympic Park area, you'll be working within a skilled team responsible for inspecting, testing and repairing critical rail electrical systems.
Your day-to-day will include:
- High Voltage (HV) testing and diagnostics
- Testing electrical equipment and recording results
- Fault finding, troubleshooting and repairs
- Wiring, soldering and crimping
- Maintaining stock accuracy
- Operating equipment such as walkie reach trucks and hoists
To be successful, you will possess the following:
- Electrical licence
- Strong background in HV testing (highly regarded)
- Experience working with:
- Static inverters (1500V)
- VVVF speed controllers
- Gas-filled circuit breakers (100-250KV)
- Sensitive control systems
- Exposure to rail, aviation, aerospace or similar industries (preferred)
- Relevant Electrotechnology qualifications
- Strong attention to detail and safety focus
