About the role
Based in a well equipped workshop in the Hills District, you'll be working within a small, skilled team responsible for the repair, overhaul and testing of electric motors and associated equipment.
Key responsibilities include:
- Disassembly, assembly and testing of electric motors
- Fault finding and inspection of equipment
- Modifications and assisting with development of work instructions
- Using measuring tools to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Operating workshop equipment including lathe and milling machines
- Maintaining high safety standards in all workshop activities
To be successful, you will possess the following:
- Trade Qualified with current Electrical licence
- Strong workshop experience and understanding of maintenance/repairs
- Ability to read drawings and use measuring equipment
- Strong commitment to safety and quality
- Current NSW Driver's Licence
- Highly Regarded
- Forklift Licence
- Experience with electric motors, modifications or manufacturing
- Disconnect/Reconnect licence or electrical knowledge
- Experience with lathe, milling or welding
