Job Description: We are looking for a passionate and results-driven Business Development Manager to lead sales efforts and increase the occupancy of the aged care facility. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales within the aged care sector, specifically increasing occupancy rates.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to increase occupancy levels.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the aged care sector.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with referral sources, including hospitals, GPs, and community organizations.
- Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities for growth.
- Provide regular reports on sales performance and market trends.
- Work closely with the facility management team to ensure a seamless admission process for new residents.
- Attend industry events and networking opportunities to promote the facility.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in sales within the aged care sector.
- Demonstrated success in increasing occupancy rates in aged care facilities.
- Strong understanding of the aged care market and its unique challenges.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
- Strategic thinker with strong analytical skills.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
