About the role
As a Cargo Flight Clerk you will be responsible for the following:
- Performing cargo reservation bookings, track and trace and quoting as required.
- Providing exceptional customer service, answering telephone enquiries on import and export matters.
- Preparing airway bill documentation, information and flight manifests.
- Checking cargo documentation data, rate charges, flight schedules and routes.
- Processing special cargo such as dangerous goods consignments, animals and perishables.
- Assisting in compiling monthly reports.
- General warehousing duties.
- Following on health & safety procedures and regulations.
To be successful, you will possess the following:
- Ability to work unrestricted across a rotating shift 24/7 -
- Experience of working within the aviation industry - highly desirable.
- Previous experience in a customer service role - highly desirable.
- Demonstrated experience working within an administrative role - highly desirable.
- Comply with various legal bodies such as Border Force, Office of Transport, Quarantine and others.
- Ability to pass and willingness to obtain Border Force and ASIC's checks to work onsite.
- Full time working rights in Australia with no restrictions.
- Hold a valid manual driver's licence.
- Strong commitment to safety and attention to detail.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
