About the role
As a Die Technician, you will be responsible for the following:
- Prepare and service moulds as scheduled, including major, minor, and breakdown repairs based on business priorities.
- Support Mould Technicians in diagnosing and resolving tooling issues.
- Use MEX software to track and report tooling activities accurately.
- Maintain an organized system for spare parts to ensure easy access and identification.
- Adhere to company policies regarding occupational health, safety, and environmental standards.
- Maintain high housekeeping standards and perform additional duties as required to support business needs.
To be successful, you will possess the following:
- Minimum 3-5 years experience in an injection moulding manufacturing site
- Experience with multi-cavitation moulds
- Formal trade qualification in plastics engineering is preferred
- Previous experience with Arburg or Engel machinery is preferred
- Understanding or automation/robotics
