We're seeking a motivated Field Service Engineer to join our client's dynamic team in Alice Springs. The ideal candidate will hold a degree or advanced diploma in Electronics/Biomedical Engineering or a related field, with strong knowledge of electro-mechanical equipment.

Benefits
- Highly competitive salary - $96k - $106k (Salary - $75k-85k + $21k Vehicle Allowance) + 11.5% Super.
- Fixed Term Contract 12 months - Option of extension.
- Monday till Friday 7.30AM 3.30PM
- Located in Alice Springs with regular travel around the metro area and occasionally further afield.

About the role
As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for the following:
- Install, maintain, and repair a range of medical equipment, ensuring high standards of quality and compliance
- Deliver timely technical support and troubleshooting, both remotely and on-site, to meet customer needs
- Perform planned preventative maintenance and calibrations in line with service schedules and AS3551 standards
- Accurately document service activities, including reporting, warranty assessments, and repair recommendations
- Support continuous improvement by identifying equipment trends and providing product performance feedback
- Travel as required for site visits, after-hours work, and deliver technical training to end-users when needed
To be successful, you will possess the following:
- Hold a degree or Advanced Diploma in Electronics or Biomedical Engineering (recent graduates welcome)
- Hands-on experience in electrical or mechanical servicing; medical equipment experience is highly desirable.
- Hold a valid driver's licence and any certifications needed to work in healthcare or public environments
- Confident in fault-finding and problem-solving, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction
- Well-organised and reliable, with good communication and time management skills
- Able to work independently or in a team, and willing to meet site access requirements
