About the role
As a Hydraulic Fitter, you will be responsible for the following:
- Assembling hydraulic systems
- Disassembling & reassembling gear boxes
- Assembly of small and large power units
- Conversion of hydraulic motors
- Documentation and inventory checks
- Quality control
To be successful, you will possess the following skills:
- Demonstrated/ Proven experience as a hydraulic fitter
- Read and interpret hydraulic schematics
- Read and interpret engineering drawings
- Experience in welding and oxy cutting
- Experience in operating a small lathe drill-mill
- Experience with assembly of small and large power units
- Experience with hydraulic motor conversions
