This is a full-time position with an immediate start available for the right candidate.

About the Role
As the Production 2IC / Shift Supervisor, you will play a key hands-on leadership role within the production kitchen, ensuring daily operations run safely, efficiently and to plan.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supervising production staff across up to five production lines
- Supporting the Production Supervisor with daily planning, output targets and staff rostering
- Operating and troubleshooting production equipment, including mixers, tumblers and Robot Coupe machinery
- Overseeing batching, recipe compliance, raw ingredient handling and quality checks
- Monitoring HACCP, food safety and quality standards across manual and semi-automated processes
- Coordinating end-of-day stock transfers, raw material requirements and production stock counts
Shift times are currently under review and will operate within standard daytime hours (approximately 8:00am-4:00pm or 8:30am-4:30pm). Flexibility is required to adjust rostered hours in line with production demands.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Proven experience in food manufacturing or production kitchen environments (minimum 3 years ideal)
- Strong working knowledge of HACCP, food safety and quality assurance standards
- Hands-on experience with batching, raw ingredients and following recipes and production methodologies
- Physical capability to meet manual handling requirements
- Strong English communication and numeracy skills (recipes, batch numbers, use-by dates)
- The ability to lead diverse teams and step into a supervisory role as required
- Successful candidates must be willing to undergo a Drug & Alcohol test.
