Our client is an engineering company that specialises in fabrication & installation of quality
metalwork & structural steel. There is an urgent need for a good welder in the workshop to assist the team to get on-top of some current jobs and growing pipeline of work.
This position is an on-going assignment paying $31.22 p/hr. It is Monday to Friday starting at 6am. There will be overtime from time to time but will be a min of 38hours per week.
The role will involve Mig welding of structural steel. You must be experienced working with heavy gauge mild steel and positional welding on things like pipe and tube.
This position is an immediate start and requires a person that is experienced with reading drawings and has the ability to work with minimal supervision and guidance.
You will also require: -
- Reliable car and licence
- Basic hand tools.
- Own welding helmet and protective gear
- Must be able to start immediately.
- Ability to pass a Pre-employment medical.
