About the role
As a Maintenance Fitter, you will be responsible for the following:
- Carrying out preventative and reactive maintenance to improve efficiency
- Complete changeovers on assembly equipment when required for production
- Provide technical support to Die Setters and Moulding Technicians
- Keep the spare sparts inventory up to date and order any required parts
- Contribute and drive continuous improvement programmes
- Maintaining a clean and safe work environment
To be successful, you will possess the following:
- Trade qualified
- Strong understanding of pneumatics and hydraulics
- Previous machining/fabrication experience
- Strong attention to detail
- Reconnect Disconnect and PLC experience (highly desired)
- Previous experience working with injection moulding equipment
