As a Marketing Assistant, you will be directly working in:
Brand Marketing:
- Analyze sales performance and determine the growth and P&L of designated brands;
- Analyze stock movement and identify slow-moving items;
- Monthly analysis on forecast versus demand, strategize with a gap planning
- Ensure the sales growth and profitability target are met;
- Develop and implement strategic A&P plans to build brand awareness and maximize sales volume;
- Develop and implement brand-building strategies and marketing initiatives to position the company products to be the leading brand in the market;
- Obtain suppliers' approval for marketing programs and budget;
- Attend supplier's queries;
- Timely reporting the sales volume and providing updates on promotional activities;
- Research and recommend the best and most cost-effective mass media for advertising and promotion.
- Liaise and negotiate with the magazines, newspapers, radio stations and television, internet and other electronic and printed to arrange for the advertisement
Market Review
- Market Review includes conducting consumer research, collecting market data on industry trends, competitor activities and retailer feedback;
- Analyze and report on market review results and make recommendations on pricing, packaging, selling and aggressive marketing strategies;
- Identify new business opportunities and untapped markets;
Event & Campaign Management:
- Identify in-store promotional opportunities;
- Develop creative promotional events and campaigns to maximize sales and manage the end-to-end process;
- Manage the company's website and ensure all content is up to date;
- Provide the post-event activity reports;
- Review post-event sales and report on the event/campaign effectiveness; Profit & Loss analysis
- Merchandising
- Create a point of sales, design promotional items and develop advertising and artwork design.
Our ideal candidate
Our ideal candidate has at least three years of experience in similar roles, is driven and looking for an opportunity to grow in an environment where your development is supported and your ideas are valued.
The following are essential attributes to be considered for this role:
- Chinese speaking skills (mandatory)
- 2-5 years of similar experience, preferably have exposure in the food industry;
- Relevant tertiary qualification;
- Excellent verbal & written communication and negotiation skills;
- Strong organizational skills;
- Sound problem solving and analytical skills;
- Possess financial aptitude in terms of business planning and budget management;
- Demonstrate business acumens and commercial astuteness;
- Solid mathematical and analytical skills;
- Exceptional relationship-building skills;
- Proficient at using computers and the required applications;
- Chinese is required
