Momentum Consulting are working with a leading provider of hygiene and pest control services, who are looking for a driven Business Development Manager.
This role will suit someone who can work autonomously, is willing to travel across Tasmania, prepared to follow up on leads and hunt new business.
Key responsibilities and accountabilities
- Prospect for potential new clients and turn this into increased business
- Cold call as appropriate within your market to ensure a robust pipeline of opportunities
- Meet potential clients by growing, maintaining, and leveraging your network
- Identify potential clients, and the decision makers within the organisation
- Research and build relationships with new clients
- Price customers according to their requirements
- Maintain your existing client base once achieved
- Attend industry functions, networking where applicable
- Meet or exceed yearly sales targets
To be considered you MUST have:
- Proven success in a new business development role within the waste management industry, building industry or similar
- Outstanding communication skills- verbal and written
- Strong technical and numerical aptitude
- A resilient and driven mindset
- Ability and willingness to travel extensively across all geographical areas of Tasmania
