Key Responsibilities Include:
- Advising clients on construction contracts, including drafting, reviewing, and negotiating D&C, EPC, subcontract, and consultancy agreements.
- Assisting with dispute resolution, including security of payment claims, adjudications, mediations, and litigation.
- Conducting legal research, preparing advice, and supporting senior lawyers on complex construction and infrastructure matters.
- Managing client relationships and providing timely, practical, and commercially focused legal solutions.
- Preparing pleadings, correspondence, and other court documents where required.
- Contributing to the firm's knowledge base and business development initiatives in the construction space.
To Be Successful, You Will Have:
- Experience in construction law (front-end, back-end, or mixed).
- Strong drafting and negotiation skills, with attention to detail and commercial awareness.
- Experience in contract administration, security of payment, or construction disputes is desirable.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to engage effectively with clients and stakeholders.
- Strong time management and organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities.
- A proactive, collaborative, and client-focused mindset with eagerness to learn and develop.
