Momentum has partnered with one of Australia's leading manufacturers of high-quality Healthcare products to assist in sourcing a Nightshift Electrician for one of their high performing and collaborative production teams. With their world class products and therapies found in hospitals across the globe, this client is committed to collaboration, inclusion and excellence.
Shift:
7.00pm-7.00am Friday, Saturday, Sunday (36 hours per week)
6 weeks training provided where you will be required to work with the team on other shifts to get to know the plant before going to normal hours as above. These times can be from 7am - 3pm, 3pm - 11pm, 11pm - 7am Monday - Friday as required by the teams.
Responsibilities:
Perform electrical diagnosis, repairs and preventative maintenance on plant and related facilities equipment/systems.
Electrically install/connect new or relocated equipment.
Strictly adhere to safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a secure work environment.
Determine electrical issues and perform repairs or maintenance as required.
Support plant TPM program by working with production teams and providing electrical expertise and training so that equipment performance is continually improved.
Assist in keeping equipment documentation and drawings up to date.
Assist in evaluating new equipment and components.
Complete maintenance reports to required standards
Ensure all work is performed in compliance to GMP and Safety requirements.
Successfully implement electrical installations and modifications.
Perform routine maintenance tasks to reduce downtime and improve efficiency.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve electrical problems.
Essential requirements:
Proven experience as an Electrical Tradesperson in a manufacturing setting.
A current and relevant recognized Electrical Trade Certificate
Troubleshoot using knowledge of PLC ladder logic
Fault finding ability
High speed automated machine experience
PLC (Alan Bradley) programming and trouble-shooting exp.
Proficient in electrical systems, equipment, and troubleshooting techniques.
Strong knowledge of electrical codes and regulations.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Desirable:
Knowledge of robotics, motion control and machine sequencing
Pharmaceutical experience
Knowledge of regulatory requirements of G.M.P.
