About the Roles
Both positions report to the Financial Controller, the Finance Business Partner will lead the financial planning and analysis for manufacturing operations or Distribution operations and will act as the key liaison between finance and operations. Your insights will shape business decisions and drive efficiency, profitability, and performance improvements across multiple production sites.
Key Responsibilities- Manufacturing Finance Business Partner
- Analyse end-to-end manufacturing costs (materials, labour, overheads)
- Maintain and monitor product costings, BOMs, and inventory valuations in D365
- Own the budgeting and forecasting processes for manufacturing
- Identify and report inefficiencies and improvement opportunities through data
Key responsibilities - Distribution Finance Business Partner
- Analyse every aspect of warehousing and logistics into measurable cost drivers
- Maintain and monitor freight and logistics cost, inventory management, stock costs, stock turn over and cycle counts.
- Own the budgeting and forecasting processes for the distribution of all products shipped nationally
Key Responsibilities for both Manufacturing and Distribution Finance Business Partner
- Partner with operations teams to implement cost-control strategies and process enhancements
- Deliver monthly reporting packs and dashboards for senior leadership
- Support capital investment modelling and business case development
- Reconcile inventory-related GL accounts and assist with physical inventory/cycle counts
- Champion a culture of financial accountability and continuous improvement
To Be Successful, You Will Have:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field (CA/CPA qualified)
- 4-6 years of post-graduate experience, ideally in cost accounting or financial planning
- Previous experience in manufacturing, logistics, third party logistics(3PL) packaging or FMCG sectors
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (modelling) and ERP systems, ideally D365
- Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
