Due to expansion within our internal HR & Operations team based in Sydney CBD we are currently seeking a highly motivated and safety driven WHS and RTW Coordinator to join our operations team. The role of the WHS and Return to Work Coordinator is to provide expert operational advice and support to the business, concerning matters of injury management, workers compensation, and Work health and Safety.

Reporting to the National Operations Manager, your core responsibilities will include

  • Facilitating all WHS site inspections, health and wellness programs, policy and procedure responsibilities
  • Coordination of Injured worker programs
  • Uploading and updating claims management system
  • Sending requests to claims agent for information
  • WHS and RTW administration
  • Training & Development of internal staff

To excel in this role, you will bring

  • At least 1 years' experience or exposure within a WHS/RTW position or a genuine interest
  • Experience working within blue collar space is highly advantageous, however not essential
  • Return to work certification (SIRA approved) but can be provided through the Momentum study program (next course October 2019)
  • Cert IV in WHS is preferred but can be provided through the Momentum study program
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft suite
  • Drivers licence
