A Junior Estimator is sought by a young but well-established commercial demolition company in Sydney's inner west.
With several sites in progress and new opportunities presenting themselves all the time, the business is looking to put on a Junior/Graduate to assist with the estimating.
Working with a small but experienced, close knit team, they have invested in On Screen Takeoff software and will provide training, guidance, and structure to develop your skills to add value to the business.
Skills and experience:
They have a preference for an Under Graduate with a degree in building and construction or similar qualifications in progress, plus;
- Prior experience/exposure to estimating in the building and construction industry
- Experience with estimating software - On-Screen Takeoff very well regarded.
- Ability to read plans
- Good numeric skills
- Excellent communications
- A self-starter with a positive attitude.
- A drivers license and your own vehicle is not essential, but would make life easier for you.
You will be encouraged to visit sites, and there will be additional office and administration tasks, however the focus will be on getting estimates for new projects completed and sent out.
