An established, market-leading technical services organisation is seeking 4 Service Mechanics to join a well-established service team supporting lifts and escalators across the Sydney Metro region.
This role suits a skilled lift industry professional who takes pride in safe, compliant work, enjoys problem solving in the field, and is comfortable working both independently and as part of a wider service team.

About the Role
You will be responsible for the service, repair and testing of lifts and escalators, ensuring all work is completed in line with relevant standards, codes and company procedures.
Key responsibilities include:
- Attending lift and escalator breakdowns and carrying out fault finding on control systems
- Performing major repairs, control modifications and corrective works
- Re-roping, hoisting and rigging activities
- Coordinating repairs, T work and subcontractor support where required
- Training and mentoring apprentices and supporting subcontractors
- Participating in standby and after-hours call-out rosters
- Completing timesheets and service documentation accurately
- Working strictly in accordance with AS1735 Lift Code, safety requirements and quality systems
- Actively contributing to continuous improvement and a strong safety culture
You are a qualified lift industry trades person with strong electrical and mechanical capability and a safety-first mindset.
You will bring:
- A recognised lift or electrical trade qualification (4-year lift apprenticeship or accredited program)
- Minimum 5 years experience working within the lift industry
- Strong fault-finding and repair experience on lifts and escalators
- Sound knowledge of safety systems, lift codes and industry compliance
- The ability to plan and schedule work efficiently
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- A professional approach to customer and team interactions
