Our client is a leading logistics company specializing in customized solutions for handling diverse types of cargo, including containers, bulk materials, and automotive products. They manage multiple sites across Australia and New Zealand, with a strong focus on supporting Australian industries. They are currently recruiting for a Stevedore Labourer with an immediate start.

About the Role
As a Stevedore, you will be responsible for the following:
- Operation of various machinery including forklifts, skid steers, and excavators.
- Handling general duties related to loading and unloading, including securing and releasing loads.
- Performing basic pre-start checks and routine maintenance of equipment.
- Carrying out basic security and clerical tasks, such as record keeping and tallying.
- Ensuring all operations are conducted safely, with immediate reporting of any safety breaches or incidents.
- Moving inventory on and off vessels.
To Be Successful, You Will Possess the Following:
- Demonstrated experience in a logistics role
- Valid Manual Driver's License
- Valid Forklift License highly desirable
- Physically fit, able to lift up to 30 kgs
- Flexibility to work shifts over a 7-day, 24-hour period
- Availability to attend work at short notice
- Must successfully pass a Drug & Alcohol test
- Must be willing to obtain MSIC card
