Our client is a tier 1, globally renowned organisation who you will certainly be familiar with. They specialize in the design, development, and manufacture of electrical and electronic equipment. They work across a variety of industries such as transport, automation, and energy solutions. They are looking for a Mechanical Fitter to join their team at the factory site in Rydalmere to dismantle, clean, service, repair and reassemble MEA's and OEM equipment.

About the role
As a Mechanical Fitter you will be responsible for the following:
- Dismantle, clean, service, repair, and re-assemble MEA's and OEM equipment in accordance with documented procedures
- Assemble new equipment for various projects
- Maintain stock accuracy and high level of housekeeping
- Follow work health and safety procedures
- Be adaptable and willing to complete general tasks as allocated by the team leader
- Work with minimal supervision and report any issues directly to the team leader/factory supervisor
To be successful, you will possess the following:
- TAFE trade certificate course or equivalent demonstrated skills and experience to mechanical tradesman level
- Ability to read engineering drawings
- English language comprehension and communication skills
- Basic electrical safety understanding and awareness
- Familiarity with maintenance of heavy mechanical/electrical equipment
- At least three years experience in a medium/large manufacturing or maintenance organisation
