Our client is a tier 1, globally renowned organisation who you will certainly be familiar with. They specialise in the design, development, and manufacture of electrical and electronic equipment. They work across a variety of industries such as transport, automation, and energy solutions. They are looking for a Senior Electronics Technician to join their team at the factory site in Rydalmere to inspect, test, troubleshoot and repair a variety of railway electronic equipment.

About the role
As a Senior Electronics Technician, you will be responsible for the following:
- Diagnosis and repairing faults in electronic assemblies, using oscilloscopes, multimeters, etc
- Circuit repairs, soldering (SMT and through-hole)
- Building and maintaining custom test rigs, and ensuring test equipment is regularly calibrated
- Assisting engineers in research and development activities-prototyping, testing, and assembling electronics for new products
- Investigating returned products and supporting root cause analysis on customer issues
To be successful, you will possess the following:
- Strong understanding of electronics diagnostics, circuit testing, and fault finding
- Minimum 5 years experience in electronics or related industry
- Competent with soldering, wiring, reading schematics, and building electronic assemblies
- Good communication and team leadership skills
- Comfortable using technical documentation
- Certificate IV in Industrial Electronics and Control
