Our client is a global leader in Computers and Information Technology, operating a national distribution and repair centre. Due to ongoing growth, they are seeking an experienced Repair Technician to join their team on an ongoing basis.

About the role
As a Repair Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and testing electronic products to ensure they meet quality and performance standards.
Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- Knowledge of PCB functions, power management, communication modules, motors, and sensor systems (LDS/LiDAR, infrared, cliff and bump sensors)
- Familiarity with Li-ion battery systems, charging circuits, and safe handling of batteries and power components
- Diagnose common faults using multimeters and other basic diagnostic tools
- Perform firmware updates and reflashing, followed by functional testing of completed repairs
- Identify recurring issues and contribute to root cause analysis
- Follow ESD procedures and accurately update service systems or repair logs
- Clearly communicate technical findings to supervisors and support teams
Qualifications & Experience
Certificate or Diploma in:
- Electronics
- Mechatronics
- Electrical Engineering
Experience in repairing:
- Robotic vacuum cleaners (highly regarded)
- Home appliances or consumer electronics
