Key Responsibilities:
As a Die Setter, you will be responsible for the following:
- Perform die changes, insert changes; and colour changes according to the daily production plan.
- Machine start up and ensure production meets quality standards
- Monitor and record any changes made to machines and processes
- Resolve issues to injection moulding and address quality and non-conforming issues
- Conduct machine start up and shutdowns
- Identify and report tooling issues
- Collaborate and communicate with QA, tool room and maintenance department to resolve issues affecting production.
To be successful, you will possess the following:
- Minimum 3 years experience in an injection moulding manufacturing site
- Experience with multi-cavitation tools
- Formal trade qualification is not essential but is highly regarded; however, lengthy and in depth working knowledge and experience in injection moulding die setting environment will be well considered.
- Previous experience with Arburg or Engel machinery is preferred
