About the Role
As a Maintenance Technician, your responsibilities would include:
- Diagnosing, troubleshooting, and swiftly resolving faults and breakdowns with precision and safety.
- Performing scheduled preventive and corrective maintenance to ensure top equipment performance.
- Running diagnostic tests and monitoring automation systems, including SCADA, to maintain peak efficiency.
- Leading and collaborating with technical teams to deliver timely, high-quality maintenance and repairs.
- Keeping detailed, accurate records of all work performed, ensuring full compliance with company policies.
- Following strict safety and operational protocols to maintain a secure and efficient workplace.
- Embracing a rotating shift roster where your contributions keep critical operations moving efficiently.
To Be Successful, You will possess the following:
- A current electrical trade qualification with hands-on mechanical repair and maintenance experience; background in highly regulated or technical environments (e.g. airports, mining, manufacturing) is highly regarded
- Strong computer literacy with the ability to quickly learn and operate systems such as SCADA or PLCs
- Flexibility to work on a 24/7 rotating shift roster, including nights, weekends, and public holidays
- Willingness to obtain or currently hold: Airside Driver's Licence, ASIC clearance, CPR/LVR, and other site-specific safety certifications
- A proactive, safety-focused mindset with excellent communication, reliability, and a strong team ethic
- The ability to meet all pre-employment requirements including a police clearance, medical assessment, and drug & alcohol screening.
